Ray is now on the mend. He is sitting up and starting to talk. The tubes have been removed from his throat and he is bored and wants to come home. He dislikes the Hospital food. This is a good sign. However he is still in ICU and unable to have visitors.

RAY FRANKS UPDATE
Good News, Ray is sitting up watching TV.
He still cannot speak due to the numerous tubes down his throat but is beginning to respond although he is not completely back with us yet. He will be in ICU for a while yet and still unable to have visitors other than immediate Family.

RAY FRANKS UPDATE
TODAY, RAY OPENED HIS EYES AND RESPONDED TO QUESTIONS BY HAND SQUEEZING.
HIS KIDNEY HAS KICKED BACK IN.
HE IS SHOWING POSITIVE SIGNS OF IMPROVEMENT.

RAY FRANKS UPDATE
Ray is still in ICU , he is still unconscious and has been placed on dialysis as his kidney is not working.
We can only pray that this outstanding Man who has contributed so much to the Gosford Men's Shed and the Community and supported us in his role as Welfare Officer, will recover from this illness and be back in the Shed soon.

He is starting to respond, however will remain in ICU for a while yet.

MEMBER RAY FRANKS ILLNESS
JUST A NOTE TO LET FELLOW SHEDDERS KNOW THAT RAY FRANKS WAS FLOWN TO RNSH ON SATURDAY 18.8.12.
RAY SUFFERED A TORN AORTIC VALVE AND UNDERWENT MAJOR HEART SURGERY WHICH LASTED 4.5 HOURS. RAY IS NOW IN INTENSIVE CARE.
