The Funeral Service for David Batty will be held at Palmdale Crematorium Ourimbah on Friday 8th February 2013 at 12.30pm.
The Shed will be open from 6.30am to 11.30am.on the day.

VALE DAVID BATTY
IT IS WITH MUCH SADNESS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF DAVID BATTY.
AFTER A LENGTHY ILLNESS, DAVID PASSED AWAY ON WEDNESDAY 30.1.2013.
DAVID JOINED THE SHED ON 12.7.2010 AND WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS SKILL ON THE SCOLL SAW AND HIS KNOWLEDGE WHICH HE WILLINGLY SHARED WITH ALL HE CAME IN CONTACT WITH.
OVER THE PAST YEAR ,AS HIS HEALTH DETERIORATED, DAVID STILL MADE THE EFFORT TO VISIT HIS MATES IN THE SHED AND ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE NEVER ONE TO COMPLAIN.
OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH DAVID'S WIFE JOAN AT THIS TIME AND WE OFFER OUR SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY. DAVID WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY US ALL.

GOSFORD SHED UPDATE
Here we are at the start of another year.
The shed is getting back to normal after the Festive break.
The New Year brings new Projects and already, Tony, Colin, Max and Doug have made the Soap Boxes for Central Coast Toastmasters big day at Kibble Park Gosford on Sat 9th March.
Tomorrow we will celebrate Australia Day with the traditional sausage sizzle.
Commencing on the last Monday in February will be our Toolbox Talk of the Month. February's subject will be Prostrate Cancer.
Just a note that due to the Australia Day Public Holiday, the shed will be closed on Monday 28th January. We will be back on Friday 1st February.
Have a happy and safe Australia Day.

Lectern For Kariong Neighbourhood Centre
We were approached by Jean Lawrie who asked if it was possible for us to make a Lectern for the Kariong Neighbourhood Centre.
Tony Stoker and Colin Faithfull set to work and a week later we informed Jean that it was finished.
Today we presented the Manager of the Centre, Fiona Simpson with the Lectern.
We had Morning Tea and were given a Tour of the facility.
It is a credit to Fiona and her Staff for the excellent venue which offers so much to the people of Kariong and surrounding district.

PRIME MINISTER VISITS SHED
On Friday 2nd November 2012 the Prime Minister Julia Gillard accompanied by the Member for Robertson Deborah O'Neill MP paid a visit to our shed.
