Friday 27th May was a good Day at Eagles Plumbing West Gosford. Peter and Staff did a great job and the Morning was well supported.
It's on again Saturday 28th May 08.00am to 02.00pm,

FUND RAISER

Eagles Plumbing in conjunction with Caroma are holding a BBQ and Raffle on Friday 27th May from 07.00am to 11.00am and again on Saturday 28th May from 08.00am to 2.00pm. with the proceeds going to Gosford Community Mens Shed.
Raffle Tickets will be available for $5 each. 1st Prize a $500 Voucher . 2nd Prize a $130 Coffee Maker.
Sausage Sandwich $2, Bacon & Egg Roll $3, Cold Drinks $1.
On Saturday a competition and games will be run.
Come along and join the fun and support Gosford Mens Shed.
We have now commenced Building Works on our new Shed in the Carpark at Gosford Showgrounds and all being well we expect to have it completed by the end of August.
There is still a significant shortfall in Funding so all Donations no matter how big or small will be greatefully received.

We are in Urgent need of 75m of Temporary Fencing to secure our Building Site for 12 weeks max and Financial Assistance to cover our Shortfall in Funding.

NEW SHED UPDATE

Well it is finally going to happen.
All approvals received and we will begin within the next 2 weeks.
Due to the time it has taken since the DA was approved we have lost a number of Funding opportunities which has resulted in a significant shortfall.
However, we will continue with the Project as planned and hope that good fortune will help us along the way.
Thank you for all of your support and I trust that you will be able to visit us when all is completed.

New Shed Update

Well, what can I say. Our DA was approved 2 years ago and we still have not been able to start.
Every way we turn we are confronted with Red Tape and additional costs.
We are trying to build an American Barn Style Shed on Crown Land in the Carpark at Gosford Showground, not a Multistorey Highrise Apartment Block in the middle of the City.
We fell short of Funds due to monies which did not materialise and now find that the Pot is dwindling as a result of extra pressures being imposed on us.
I wish to apologise to our Members in The Shed, the Community which we serve and The Coast Shelter Organisation who are trying their hardest to help us overcome our difficulties.
Hopefully, the situation will soon improve and we will be in a position to provide the venue for the benefit of Men in our Community where we can continue to provide a service for our Local Non Government Organisations, Community Centres and Members of the Public.

SENIORS WEEK OPEN DAY

Attention all Seniors.
Gosford Community Mens Shed are having a Seniors Week Open Day on Friday 8th April 8am to around 3pm.
Do drop in and see what we have to offer Men in our Community to help overcome Boredom by joining a group of Men who enjoy putting their skills to use for the good of the Community.
If you don't want to get involved with the practical work, you can sit back and relax with a bottomless cuppa and enjoy the Day.
