There has been no further progress on obtaining Power to the Shed. The problem lays with Ausgrid giving us access from their Pole to the Shed. Hopefully this will eventually be sorted out.
Having said that, we still have to find the Money to Fund it.

Construction will close for the Christmas Holidays on Wednesday 21/12/2016 and will resume on Monday 9/1/2017.

The Funeral for our dear friend David Patton will be held on Thursday 13th October 2016 at 3.00pm in the Rose Chapel Creightons Ourimbah.

Information For Members

It is with much sadness that I inform you that following his recent Illness, David Patton has had his Life Support System turned off today.

David had been helping out in the new shed and was well respected by all who came in contact with him.

Having collapsed with a Brain Anurism, he was flown to RNSH in Sydney where he was operated on only to suffer a Heart Attack from which he did not recover.

Members will be advised when further information is received.

Making Progress

We will be back in the Shed at 8 am Monday 12/9 starting a new week.
Last week saw us moving forward thanks to a good crew of helpers.
We have had the assistance of Allcott Hire West Gosford who have kindly donated the hire of equipment to enable us to build the frame for the Office, Meeting Room/Kitchen, Toilets and Storeroom.
Mangrove Mountain Yoga donated Insulation to line the walls and Central Coast Kitchens and Wardrobes supplied the 8x4 Cover Sheets for us to line the interior walls, Allan Hoipo donated the Timber for the Studs and Frames.
Bunnings West Gosford donated the Trailer to help us collect the materials.
A great effort from Local People who are helping us to complete this Project.
Plus a great effort from our Members especially Larry, Peter J ,Peter M, Peter L,Max,, Paul, Doug, Tony, Lester, Frank and others who gave us a hand last week,

Shed Progress

The old Location behind Coast Shelter ceased operation on Monday 5th September.
This week we have had all hands to the pump, collecting materials to begin the interior fitout.
We have to construct the Office, Meeting Room/Kitchen/ Toilets, Shower, Wash Basins and a Tool Storeroom.
We will be back tomorrow and Friday batting on. Although we do not have the Power connected yet due to a Funding Shortfall, we will make the most of what we have, taking small steps we will eventually get over the line.
Thank you to Larry, Peter J, Doug S, Paul, Frank, Tony and Dick for the extra effort that you have put in this week and to those who rolled up today to help.
It is great to see the enthuiasm from Members to assist in Building Your Shed.
